Absolutely! Our goal is to have you understand your body better, with or without a CGM.
While we include guidance for CGM users, we also teach non-CGM participants how to tune into hunger, energy levels, cravings, and other natural signals to recognize blood sugar patterns without a device.

Yes, many participants are able to use their HSA (Health Savings Account) or FSA (Flexible Spending Account) dollars for The Blood Sugar Method. In many cases, nutrition coaching can be reimbursed if your healthcare provider supplies a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN).
An LMN is simply a note from your doctor or nurse practitioner stating that nutrition coaching supports the treatment or management of a health concern — such as prediabetes, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, PCOS, IBS, HRT or weight management. If your provider agrees it’s beneficial, they can write one for you.
Here’s how to get started:
Contact your HSA/FSA provider to confirm whether they cover nutrition coaching with an LMN.
Ask your healthcare provider if they will write and sign an LMN for you.
Sign up for your Blood Sugar Method program.
Submit your receipt (and LMN, if required) to your HSA/FSA provider for reimbursement.
We’ll provide clear receipts and support documents to make the process smoother. While we can’t guarantee approval, many clients successfully use HSA/FSA funds for nutrition coaching.

Yes! Any food can be swapped out for another food in its same category. That means any proteins (meat, eggs, protein powder, greek yogurt) can be swapped for a different protein, any veggies can be used instead of the ones listed in the meal, and any starches (sweet potato, beans, legumes, grains, fruit) can be swapped for other starches. When you’re making these swaps, try to use the same quantity to keep the integrity of the recipes. We provide specific ingredient swaps from the recipes in a guide! Note that different food swaps have different blood sugar properties and may react differently in your body.

For The Self-Paced Course, you will have access for 12 months starting from the day you purchase The Course. It is estimated it will take you about 6 weeks to complete, spending 1-3 hours per week on course materials. You also get 1 month free access to the Community Chat.
The Membership will be ongoing – as long as you are a subscriber, you will have access to all Membership features. We require 30 days notice to cancel your membership.

The Blood Sugar Method is focused on offering attainable resources, guidance, education and recipes that are not the same as Beths' Nest Wellness Substack and Anja's Modern Women's Nutrition Substack.
Joining The Blood Sugar Method does not give you a subscription to either Substack. (If you're currently paying monthly fees for a substack subscription, you will continue to pay those in addition to The Blood Sugar Method monthly payments.)
